About The Job :

This is a full-time on-site role as a Finance Manager located in Dubai, United Arab Emirates. The Finance Manager ensures the financial health and sustainability of the organization by managing budgets, forecasting financial trends, and providing strategic insights. She/He oversees financial operations, ensures compliance with regulations, and collaborates with different departments to optimize resource allocation, all while driving profitability and supporting long-term business goals.

Your core duties and responsibilities will include, but not be limited to, the following:

  1. Financial Planning and Analysis:
    • Develop and maintain financial models, forecasts, and budgets to support business planning.
    • Provide detailed financial analysis and recommendations to senior management on cost-saving initiatives, profitability, and overall performance. .
  2. Budgeting and Forecasting:
    • Lead the annual budgeting process and provide quarterly financial forecasts.
    • Monitor and report on financial performance against the budget, highlighting any variances and recommending corrective actions.
  3. Financial Reporting:
    • Prepare and present monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports, including income statements, balance sheets, and cash flow statements.
    • Ensure accurate and timely reporting of financial data to internal and external stakeholders.
  4. Cash Flow Management:
    • Monitor and manage the company’s cash flow to ensure sufficient liquidity for operations.
    • Implement strategies to optimize working capital and reduce financial risks
  5. Compliance and Regulatory:
    • Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal financial regulations and reporting requirements.
    • Liaise with external auditors and manage the year-end audit process.
  6. Team Leadership:
    • Supervise and mentor the accounting team, providing guidance on best practices and professional development.
    • Foster a collaborative, high-performance team culture focused on continuous improvement.
  7. Cost Control and Efficiency:
    • Identify opportunities to improve financial processes and systems, driving cost efficiency across the organization.
    • Work closely with other departments to ensure alignment of financial goals with operational strategies.
  8. Risk Management:
    • Develop and implement strategies to mitigate financial risks, including credit, market, and operational risks.
    • Advise management on the financial implications of business activities.
  9. Projects: Engage and deploy actions for strategic internal and external projects assigned by senior management.

Qualifications:

  • A bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, business administration, or a related field is essential. A master's degree or MBA can be an added advantage.
  • Professional certification (e.g., CPA, ACCA) is a plus.
  • Certifications such as Certified Public Accountant (CPA), Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA), or Certified Management Accountant (CMA) are often highly valued.
  • Several years of experience in financial management, accounting, or a related role, typically 5-10 years, with demonstrated success in budgeting, financial analysis, and reporting.
  • Proficiency in financial software, advanced Excel skills, and familiarity with financial modeling.
  • Strong analytical, leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills, along with the ability to work collaboratively across departments.
  • Understanding of financial regulations, tax laws, and corporate governance requirements.
  • Fluency in English (written and spoken), additional languages are beneficial.
