Ras Al Khaimah (UAE) launches an amnesty program

SFM is pleased to announce the commencement of an Amnesty Programme, initiated by the RAK International Corporate Centre ( RAK ICC), for companies with the Registry that have been struck-off due to non-renewal prior to 01 January 2020.
The Amnesty Period will be from 18 January to 18 April 2020.Advantages of the Amnesty include having an active company that maintains its history without incurring penalties and charges in respect of its restoration.
It is intended that this will make the updating of existing bank accounts or opening new bank accounts more straightforward.
Key points regarding the Amnesty are:
- Companies under the programme will not be required to pay penalty fees or restoration fees.
- Companies under the programme will only pay a renewal fee of EUR 2,000 for 2019 and any renewal fees for subsequent years.
To apply to restore a company to the Register under the Amnesty Programme, on or after 18 January please contact us and we shall be handling the whole process on your behalf.
