SFM Goes Net Zero
SFM is one of the only global corporate service provider to achieve net zero.
We have decided to use the Direct Air Capture (DAC) technology provided by Climeworks to achieve this target, and bring our carbon footprint to 0.
By removing over 1000 kg of CO2 every year, SFM has reached the so called “net zero” status to remove excess and legacy CO₂ emissions, which can no longer contribute to climate change.
Once the CO₂ is captured, it can be permanently and safely turned into stone through rapid mineralization which is a natural occurrence where the CO₂ reacts with basalt rock. To know more about this technology and Climeworks, visit Climeworks website.
